Wolf Parade to Sweden!

By on July 31, 2017

Canada and Indie rock have always gone hand in hand, and one of the country’s finest exports in this area spelled Wolf Parade. With euphoric indie rock as the main signature, the band has released a number of albums with cultstatus, all of which helped to give the band a distinctive position in the Indian sphere. After a long break, the group returned last year with a series of live shows and a promise of new music. On October 6, Wolf Parade releases their first album in seven years – “Cry Cry Cry” – and soon after that we can now announce that they come to Sweden for a gig at Debaser Strand in Stockholm on December 2. The new single “Valley Boy” is a thunder strong example of what we have to expect – tickets were released Wednesday July 26th!

Wolf Parade is led by Spencer Krug and Dan Boeckner – two gentlemen whose record extends far beyond the Wolf Parade. Having said that, it’s still when they hit their wise heads together as their creations have become the best. On albums like “Apologies to the Queen Mary” and “At Mount Zoomer”, it was defined how the experimental indian rock would sound during the nineties, and at the same time established Wolf Parade as one of the genre’s most popular acts. After a period of absence, an EP landed last year, and in October, the band’s first new full-length band is released in seven years. Expect the classic stamp to appear shortly after the release – with Wolf Parade, things rarely go wrong.
