“It’s exquisite choreography and acting in sweet compound” Expressen
“Jonas Karlsson an enchanting Rickard” SvD
“The play is as restrained as impressive” DN

He is manipulative, murderous and power-hungry. You will love him.
Jonas Karlsson plays Richard III, one of theater history’s most bloodthirsty villains, who will do anything to become King of England. He kills the mighty men and seduces then their wives. With beautiful speech, insidious plans and deadly weapons he climbs quickly toward the throne. And we in the audience are his confidants companions.

Shakespeare’s masterpiece Richard III is a bloody and dark humorous portrayal of the Duke of Gloucester’s rise to power.

The director Stefan Larsson is one of the Royal Dramatic most contracted. In recent years, he has directed plays such as Scenes from a Marriage, Fanny and Alexander, a family – August: Osage County and Medea.
