VI’s Taubestipendium 2018
The artist and songwriter Annika Norlin will receive the 2018 Taubestipendium, an award that is awarded annually by Tidningen Vi and Taubesällskapet. Norlin receives the scholarship, “because she has created her own storytelling style, which, with her daily conversation tone, is curious about what’s happening both in the midst of and beside the big moments”, according to the jury’s motivation. The award is a “songwriting prize” and is given for melodious poems, or composition of poems, according to a formulation by Evert Taube himself.

The Taubestipendiet was founded in 1960 by Tidningen Vi and Evert Taube. Taube was from the 1950s and a few decades ahead of diligent coworker in Vi.
