Rock-hard duel in women’s TCS Lidingöloppet 15

By on September 24, 2017

It became a tough fight all the way in the women’s 15km class. Norwegian Julie Larsen, Sarpsborgs IL, was finally strongest and could win with only four seconds before Lisa Ring, IK

Already after three kilometers, Lisa Ring went up in the lead and for a while the gap was about ten seconds to Larsen. In the other half there was a change of roles.

– I saw Lisa in a slope towards the end and she looked tired. Then I gave everything, could overtake and even run away. This was great fun and a big win for me, said Julie Larsen.
