RIDE SAFE

An evening about ski photography, off-piste skiing, avalanches, snow and safety in the mountains. Meet Skiers Left, Åre Lavincenter and Ski photo legend Felix Oppenheim.
Time: Wednesday 3 April at 18:30 to 21:00.
Location: Villa Ludvigsberg, Ludvigsbergsgatan 20, Stockholm. Subway Mariatorget, bus 4, hpl Hornsgatan/Rosenlundsgatan.
Skiers Left, Åre Lavincenter and Felix Oppenheim invite you to an evening where magical and safe skiing is at the center. The evening is arranged by Tillgren Photography Agents and Skiers Left in collaboration with the ski photo legend Felix Oppenheim and Åre Lavincenter.
Oppenheim’s signed ski photograph “Gressoney, Monterosa, Italy 1997” is auctioned out in favor of Skiers Left during the evening. The photographic work is 60x40cm, printed on quality glass with aluminum foil back and has been donated by Art On The Wall.Se
Program:
Skiers Left. Presentation of the foundation and the business. The brothers Axel and Gustav Scherrer started the foundation together with close friends after Mikaela Scherrer died in an avalanche accident in Verbier, December 2012.
Ride Safe. Mårten Johansson, CEO of Åre Lavincenter, lectures on avalanche safety. Mårten is one of the founders of Åre Lavincenter, Sweden’s only center for avalanche safety.
Ski Photo. Felix Oppenheim, ski and adventure photographer with the whole world as a work field, is one of those who created the very concept of ski photo. He talks about how everything started. Felix has been skiing on most continents, even inside the closed North Korea.
A pop-up exhibition with his ski photos is shown on the premises during the evening.
Auction for the benefit of Skiers Left.
The fundraising foundation Skiers Left – Mikaela’s Memory works to raise awareness of and change the attitude to the risks skiers are exposed to during off-piste skiing. Everyone who works within the foundation loves skiing and does not want to discourage anyone from going. On the contrary, we want to show that it is possible to find very fun skiing with simple means and basic knowledge, regardless of conditions, which is also safe. Instead of relying on their avalanche equipment, we want to equip Swedish skiers with the right knowledge and attitude so nobody to have to put their lives at risk for the sport we love.
Register your participation to info@skiersleft.com The notification is binding. Limited number of seats. If you cannot take advantage of your place, cancel it no later than March 30 so that someone else can get your place.
Would you like to know more about the evening or already submit a bid for the ski photograph signed Felix Oppenheim call, send sms or email to info@tillgrenphotographyagents.se
