Pulso is a flamenco show where the starting point is the humans life pump, the heart.
The famous flamenco dancer Sofia Castro shows off her innovative flamingo show Pulso.

From the question What makes the heart beat? Sofia Castro started an investigation with cardiologist Lars Rune – to understand the physiological cause of the pounding heart.

Sofia chose not to limit herself to the stroke of the heart. She also asked the question from a deeper perspective and searched for different reasons for what makes her and others’ hearts beat.

What do we find worth living for? The physiological survey gave Sofia maternity to figure it out in the artistic work. Sofia also uses the scientific terms from the heart and its circulatory system and allows its to symbolize various emotional states.

Pulso is a project that is constantly evolving just like human and life. In constant pulse.

Idea, choreography and dance by Sofia Castro.
