The singer Stina Wäppling and the producers Tobias Jimson (Astma) and Michael Flygare (Rocwell) formed the band NONONO in 2013. The great breakthrough came the same year when the hit “Pumpin Blood” was released. The song parked on toplists worldwide and was the top 40 among the most played songs on American radio. This gave the band the opportunity to perform at the Jimmy Kimmel TV Show as well as go on a USA tour with Twenty One Pilots and Foster the People and perform at the Lollapalooza Festival. They sold two million singles, received gold records in the United States and in many other countries, and sold several times the platinum in Scandinavia.

In order to find inspiration again the band had to stay up and find back to the calm on respective directions. Tobias and Michel returned to the studio and produced songs for artists like Madonna, Maroon 5, Zara Larsson and Tove Lo. Stina flew to India where she rediscovered her inner among like-minded people from around the world. She also spent a couple of months in Sri Lanka surfing, playing guitar and writing songs. During these months of freedom, Stina’s curiosity for music was revived. When she returned to Stockholm, full of insights and impressions, she decided to resume her psychology education in parallel with the band working together to write and to record their new music.
