Music | Roxette is back with “Good Karma”: One eye in the rearview mirror, one face forward

By on June 4, 2016
On July 8, 1986 gave a newly formed pop duo called Roxette out their debut single “Neverending Love” and a popcirkus the like of which have rarely been seen boosted.

30 years later the band can look back on a career that has resulted in the first four locations on the US singles chart, more top 10 hits in more countries than we have space to mention here, a staggering 75 million sold albums and world tours that have transformed millions of people to loyal fans worldwide.

But despite that Roxette has every right to look back on three decades of hits directed the gaze as much ahead, not least through an exciting collaboration with Swedish producer duo Addeboy vs. Cliff.

Good Karma” – the band’s tenth studio album since their debut album “Pearls Of Passion” in 1986 – is Roxette’s third album since their 2009 comeback after Marie’s seven years long and successful battle against the brain tumor that nearly cost her life.

And unlike its predecessors “Charm School” in 2011 and “Travelling” 2012 isGood Karmaan album where all the songs were written for the album, an album where Marie Fredriksson once again get the chance to show why “Roxers” worldwide will teary-eyed when she sings.

And should you believe Marie Fredriksson is “Good Karma” the best album Roxette done. To date.
