Along with Woody West and Nalen, we can finally welcome the legendary rock singer Chris Robinson and his new band Chris Robinson Brotherhood to Sweden!

That the legendary rock singer Chris Robinson after 25 years in the music business and 35 million sold plates would find himself with the band Chris Robinson Brotherhood, a dream project that appears to be the most vital he had done in 20 years, feels like something that you just only dared to dream about. Together with his friends masterful guitarist Neal Casal (Beachwood Sparks, Ryan Adams, The Gospel Beach), keyboards phantom Adam MacDougall, bassist Mark Dutton, drummer Tony Leone and genius producer Thom Monahan (Vetiver, Devandra Banhart, Beachwood Sparks) in his fraternity he awakens the hope of Cosmic American Music and the timeless dream of California.

When the CRB (as they are called by fans) debuted with “Big Moon Ritual” in June 2012 was the masterful works of unlimited psychjam around influences like Grateful Dead, The Flying Burrito Brothers and Little Feat, where introductory song “Tulsa Yesterday” ticked in at 11:54 and no song clocked in under 7 minutes. And before the debut barely roll finished the platter came playfully magical sequel, “The Magic Door” already in September of the same year, gossiped that something special was going on over there in California (the band did around 50 gigs in nine weeks before they turned outside the Golden State). After the album, the group continued to refine their unique craft along roads over a 118 concerts long tour. The group’s soul lies in the live shows presented as’ An Evening With Chris Robinson Brotherhood “and which extends over 2 sets and nearly three hours of music. Something that is documented by the Grateful Dead’s legendary sound engineer Betty Cantor-Jackson in limited editions Live “Betty’s SF Blends Vol 1 & Vol 2 “

However, it is with the last album, majestic Phosphorescent HarvestRobinson Brotherhood found the right full, put together their strongest songs and the best studio recordings. Phosphorescent Harvestincludes everything from cosmic cocaine cowboy country-rock to trippy boogie and soul-invigorating the soul along an endless psychedelic journey beyond time and space. Or as Chris himself says: We’ve created a piece of rock and roll here. People can look to us and rest assured the genre is alive and well.
