Model railway through Sweden – at Skansen

It is July 1967, the summer before Sweden shifted from driving on the left-hand side of the road to driving on the right. Experience Sweden in miniature at Skansens dance pavillion Galejan where the tiny trains travel through a 400 square meter landscape with time-typical sceneries, houses, animals, signs, vehicles and details.

The railway model is in scale 1:87 and consists of several modules, designed by builders from miniature railway makers Svenska SommarModuler, which are put together into a gigantic track. veral modules, designed by builders from miniature railway makers Svenska SommarModuler are also on site to tell you more about the railway.

In addition publisher Hobbypress Förlag organizes a workshop where all children can try building house models and paint figures!
