Mathias Dahlgren invites you to Christmas in the wine cellar

This year Mathias Dahlgren invites you to an exclusive Christmas with the drink as a starting point. In a room furthest into the Grand Hôtel wine cellar, among the most exclusive bottles, the star chef will serve a well-balanced Christmas dinner combined with a drink pack in two different price ranges. The menu, served from the Matbarens kitchen, offers classic Christmas flavors in five new dishes.

– The Christmas table as a concept is strongly associated with tradition in terms of taste, raw materials and shape. Much has changed over time since the traditional Christmas table was created for example the availability of fresh ingredients, such as fish, seafood, fruit and vegetables even during winter. In our wine cellar this year we serve modern dishes on fresh produce spiced with some old flavors and traditions. Among other things mustard sear we the fine fish and offer the mandarins as sorbet. For the one who themself want to spice Christmas with some extra luxury, we offer Kalixlöjrom alternatively Carelien caviar as an extra option, says Mathias Dahlgren.

The Christmas dinner in the wine cellar is served for private party of 10 people between 27 November and 21 December.
