Since 2002, MANDO DIAO has released 7 albums that have sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide. During their career, they have made over 1500 concerts in more than 30 countries and have been the headline for major international festivals. Their music videos have become viral phenomena with millions of views on YouTube. They have released a collection of B sides, a Greatest Hits collection and also an MTV Unplugged album and a DVD. Many bands have come and gone but MANDO DIAO is constantly reaching new heights and redefining what pop music means.

MANDO DIAO has always gone its own way and followed its artistic visions and interests. Their journey has not been easy but they are constantly testing new territory; Whether it is “Never Seen the Light of Day” with influences from folk music, the collaboration with hip hop producers Salazar Brothers who delivered “Give Me Fire” or Gustaf Fröding’s 100-year-old poems to “Infruset”. With a focus on innovation, MANDO DIAO started using technical solutions as a web forum before Facebook and Myspace, 3D films, Virtual Reality artwork for the album “Aelita” from 2014, mobile applications and the world’s first pop album with 360 ° sound. Their interest in sports has given them the opportunity to play at big football events, DEL Winter Game, ski and snowboard championships, boxing events, “Love Last Forever” – the official song for the World Cup in cross-country skiing 2015 and also Formula 1 and DTM competitions.

MANDO DIAO is known for its classic rock sound. For the band, music is a craft when all members play several different instruments, are producers and songwriters. They began their career with strong influences from rhythm and blues, The Beatles, Rolling Stones and The Kinks. As their music evolved, they began to explore the pop music, but they have always retained the energy and attitude of early rock along with Björn’s unique voice. With explosive energy and a wide selection of hits mixed with unexpected grain of gold, their live shows are something extraordinary!

MANDO DIAO is now working on a new album released in 2019 and follows up “Good Times” which was released in the spring of 2017 with the associated and extensive tour that brought the band through Europe, Japan and China.

We look forward to the band’s upcoming album – and the autumn tour Bang Your Head 2019 Tour with three stops on home ground!
