The Nomads
Today, it is impossible not to see The Nomads influence at Swedish music scene. Without Nomads no The Hives, Sator, Hellacopters and Backyard Babies. An excellent proof of how highly respected the band is internationally had to be when they celebrated the 20th anniversary at the Hultsfred Festival and was visited by names such as Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys), Wayne Kramer (MC5) and Handsome Dick Manitoba (The Dictators).
Nearly 1,000 performances and over 20 albums (depending on how you count) later is The Nomads in the midst of a highly creative phase. Comeback album “Solna (2012) and the following Loaded Deluxe EP” (2013) has been transferred to the catalog of classics and the band’s frequent touring has been shown where the cabinet shall stand when it comes to hard-hitting rock of the finest denomination.

KajHolst fill the void.
KajHolst is rock.
With the umbilical cord in the 70s and the gaze into the horizon.
Together, Michael Uv, Rickard Donatello and Mats Borg did it in just over a year. Each one separately, since the late 70s. DebutEP “Another Kind” was released in the spring of 2014, after an additional three singles came at a brisk pace. Latest single “HeyLow“, recorded in Berlin, was released at Johan Johansson’s record label Branschen in November.
