Liv Strömquist tänker på dig! and Mormors svarta ögon back at Dramaten

By on April 5, 2018

Two favorites return to Dramatens repertoire in the spring. In May gets Liv Strömquist tänker på dig! and Tanja Lorentzons Mormors svarta ögon revival on the Little Stage.

Dramaten gives seven new performances of the smash-hit Liv Strömquist tänker på dig! – An analytical and feminist performance about love, based on Liv Strömquist’s series. Here, Whitney Houston, Agneta Hysén, Britney Spears and a host of other people who suffer from unequal relationships meet. And Liv Strömquist makes the audience think about why female prisoners do not get love letters and why everyone got angry with Yoko Ono when John Lennon chose to be with her.

Mormors svarta ögon are a personal and humorous and observation at the three-generation different situations. To live during the war, to move to a new country and to speak a language other than their relatives. Tanja Lorentzons monologue about herself, her mother and her grandmother made success when it was premier 2010. Now it’s back with two performances.

Said in the press:
“a big little debut. For 90 minutes, she enchant her audience” SvD
“It’s a pioneer effort Tanja Lorentzon does. A similar piece has never been played at Dramaten.” DN
