This summer, LITTLE STEVEN and The Disciples Of Soul take the tour “Summer Of Sorcery” on the roads. Steven Van Zandt, aka LITTLE STEVEN, has made an outstanding music career, both in his own name but also as a guitarist in Bruce Springstein’s E Street Band. On June 1, he and his band The Disciples Of Soul will give a concert at Circus in Stockholm.

In the baggage, LITTLE STEVEN has the album “Soulfire”, the first solo album of more than 15 years. It is without a doubt his most personal work to date. The album reflects his career as an artist, performing artist, producer, organizer and songwriter.

“I have always been very thematic with my work, very conceptual. I need a bigger picture, I can’t just make a collection of songs, it doesn’t work for me. In this case, the concept became myself. Who am I? I am a bit of my own genre right now, so I have tried to choose material that each one together ultimately represents me. This album is me that makes myself.”, LITTLE STEVEN tells about “Soulfire”.

With the band Disciples Of Soul in the back, LITTLE STEVEN made solo debut in 1982 with acclaimed “Men Without Women”. Later he became known not least in Sweden for the song “Sun City” (1985) with Artists United Against Apartheid, and his equally politically engaged solo album “Freedom – No Compromise” (1987). In 2016 he reunited The Disciples Of Soul, to the fans’ great delight.
