Freddie Wadling releases Bowie interpretation of upcoming live album

By on December 19, 2016

On 8 April had Freddie Wadling a successful concert at Slagthuset in Malmo. It would prove to be his last. The concert was filmed and will be released on CD and vinyl on February 10th.

We want to offer a sample to listen to over the holidays. A wayward, suggestive version of David Bowie’s “I’m Deranged”. The original version of the song can be found on Bowie’s acclaimed concept album 1.0 Outside (1995). Freddie chose to do it as a tribute to one of its main sources of inspiration. With a unique presence and intensity makes Freddie Wadling the song to his own.

Freddie Wadling was Grammy nomination recently posthumously in categories Album of the Year and the Year Folk / Singer-songwriter of his last studio album, “After the rain”.
