Creativity flows in Clarion Hotel Sign’s new no waste bar!

By on October 6, 2017

On August 23, Stockholm’s largest hotel, Clarion Hotel Sign, opened the doors to their new bar at their restaurant Kitchen & Table Norrmalm. With two strong recruits where Fredrik Löwenhamn and Hedda Bruce are at the forefront and with a high sustainability focus, now the effort to push the bar industry in Stockholm is in full swing.

Over the years, the hotel has established a clear and all through sustainability thinking ranging from cleaning to electricity and food waste, and now also a bar with a no-waste philosophy. Those who will drive the hotel’s bar forward are Fredrik Löwenhamn who spent several years in the F12 group and most recently at Marie Leveau where he worked with Hedda Bruce who previously joined and opened Mister French. Now will the two creators together take the bar at Clarion Hotel Sign to a new level.

“The vision is that with our innovative, sustainable and playful menu show stockholmers and hotel guests that this bar is more than a classic “hotel bar”. Here we create sustainable cocktails with amazing Nordic produce in a relaxed setting,” says Fredrik Löwenhamn, Bar Manager, Kitchen & Table Norrmalm.

“I and Fredrik have worked with each other for over two years and our biggest passion is to set new trends, try new things and really let the creativity flow. The menu will be alive and exchanged on a regular basis, as well as creating exciting activations and happenings with our suppliers,” adds Hedda Bruce, Bar Manager, Kitchen & Table Norrmalm.

In addition to sustainable cocktails, Nordic produce and a constant renewal, the bar is a live venue where various DJs play every Friday from 16:00 and Saturdays from 22:00.
