Gad Elmaleh is an expert in joking about everyday life and has a high laughing frequency in his shows. As a moved in Frenchman in the United States, he makes fun of the food habits, dating culture and gives stories around his experience of moving from Paris to the United States, the struggle to flirt with women in New York and about how he also wants to visit Paris as the Americans romantically speak so well about but as he means really don’t exist.

Since moving across the Atlantic, Gad has quickly gone from being France’s most celebrated comedian to becoming a world star of rank. With over seven million twitter followers and five million followers on Facebook, it’s not hard to understand the impact Gad has on the stand-up world. In 2015, he carried out 50 sold out evenings at Joe’s Pub in New York City, which led him on a major US tour that was topped with a sold-out Carnegie Hall in Manhattan in 2017. In his home country, he has succeeded in selling the prestigious Olympia Theater Hall in Paris seven consecutive nights, something nobody succeeded in earlier.

In addition to his stand up, Gad Elmaleh has also featured in the film world, including the voice of the character “Ben Salaad” in the Steven Spielberg movie “The Adventures of Tintin” and in Woody Allen-signed “Midnight in Paris” where he acted against Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams. He has also been frequented in television shows like Conan, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Daily Show.

We are looking forward to welcoming Gad Elmaleh and “The Dream Tour” to the Södra Teatern in Stockholm this fall!
