Breakfast of the month: Nudging to create change

By on September 19, 2019

How do you make people behave differently – even if it is boring or scary? This morning is all about nudging, behavioral design and successful methods for creating change.

At this breakfast seminar, Niklas Laninge, psychologist and author, explains what nudging and behavioral design are.

We also get to know of two successful cases where nudging has been used as a method for creating concrete results. In the first case, Maria Prigorowsky, Pope’s Åberg Communications, former project manager and nudging practitioner at Sweden’s Municipalities and County Council, tells how they got 10 percent more women to carry out cancer screening.

In the second example, Elin Helander, head of research at Dreams, explains how they got young adults to start saving.

We will also discuss issues such as:

  • – If we now know that this works, why are we so bad at using the technology?
  • – Why is it so difficult to convince our clients? How can you argue?
  • – What are the do’s and don’ts about nudging?
