Anders Zorn was one of many Scandinavian artists who sought luck in Paris. It was here – at the 1888 Salon – he got his international breakthrough and became one of the most renowned artists in the country. Zorn lived in Paris in 1888-1896, which was also his most productive time but participated in French art life for more than 30 years.

The art historian and author Vibeke Röstorp is resident and active in Paris. She studied at the Sorbonne University in 2011, and has participated in several exhibitions in France and Sweden. Her latest book “Zorn and France” was published in 2017 in conjunction with the exhibition with the same name at the Zorn Museum in Mora.
