Wild Minds returned to the Royal Dramatic Theatre

After having been played during Bergman Festival returns Marcus Lindeens Wild Minds, about compulsive daydreamer, to the Royal Dramatic Theatre on 25 and 26 October.

Daydreaming is said to be able to help us solve problems and redeem our creativity. But what if the fantasy completely take over our lives?

Wild Minds is a documentary performance where we meet four people obsessed with their daydreams. The director Marcus Lindeen has interviewed people in the US who identify themselves as “compulsive daydreamer” who were forced to seek help for their vivid imaginations. For years they have built up advanced fictional worlds that eventually become so big and exciting that they started to out-compete the reality. The stories will be performed live by actors as simultaneous interpreters documentary voices to contemporary music by Hans Appelqvist.

The show is in English and is created to order by the Moderna Museet in Stockholm.
