Warner Music is once again the company with most artists in Melodifestivalen

Warner Music is once again the record company that has most artists in the next edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Last spring, Warner had eight of the twelve finalists in the Friends and continues now with a new major investment in the competition, where you set up with twelve contributions.

In five years, the label’s artists have won the Swedish finals three times with Loreen’s ‘Euphoria’ in 2012, Sanna Nielsen’s “Undo” in 2014 and Måns Zelmerlöw “Heroes” in 2015. In addition, both Loreen and Mans won the big Eurovision finals, and enjoyed huge chart success all over Europe. The initiative has also resulted in several other big hits and Spotify ones like Ace Wilder’s “Busy Doin ‘Nothin’ and Samir & ViktorBada Nakna“.

 
Among Warner’s contribution in Melodifestivalen 2017, there are several artists who returns to the competition like Mariette, Ace Wilder, Boris René and Dinah Nah. And the big surprise and the comeback of one of the Melodifestivalen and Eurovision‘s biggest stars Loreen. In addition, returning one of last year’s biggest breakthrough artists Wiktoria is signed to the company Moon Man Records / PRMD under the distribution agreement with Warner.

Returning makes even the two-time winner Charlotte Perrelli who is signed to the company Stock House under the distribution agreement with Warner.

 
In addition to the returning artists featuring Warner five exciting debutants in the competition. Owe Thörnqvist as 87 years old become the competition’s oldest participant ever. Jasmine Kara has long been an established singer and became known to the public through her participation in TV4 Lets Dance. Nano that broke through with the song “Perfect Melody” in 2015.
