Every year, Pride is celebrated around the world. Stockholm Pride can be proud of being Scandinavia’s largest and this year has the turn come to Stockholm and Sweden that also host the EuroPride.

Equality and everyone’s equal value is something that Warner Music values highly, both in the workplace and in society at large. These values pervade the company in all respects and are an important issue for us, both at global and local level.

Warner Music Sweden will let Pride be seen and hailed in various ways in all our channels during the summer and as the dot over the i the company will for the first time participate in the EuroPride parade on August 4 with its own equipage to which they invite colleagues, partners and friends. We are proud to show our commitment to the right to everyone’s equal value as the organizer estimates to be the most seen Pride parade ever in Stockholm.

– Pride movement is an example. We must never stop reminding each other of everyone’s equal value and the right to love whoever they want. It is a responsibility we have both as individuals and as companies, said Helen McLaughlin, CEO of Warner Music Sweden.

In connection with our participation in the parade, the artist Margaret will release the song “Lollipop”, which becomes our very own signature melody for Warner Pride. We are proud of what Margaret has done for the HBTQ movement in her native Poland and she sees it as a matter of course to engage in our initiative. In the evening of August 4, we can also see her performing “Lollipop” on Sommarkrysset in TV4, directly from Gröna Lunds Big Stage.

– I have always supported love initiatives and love of all kinds. Love is Love, says Margaret.

We are happy and proud to join and celebrate this year’s Pride for a month. The valuations shall we take care and highlight every one of the days of the year, it is both our duty and our right!
