This new tavern guide is entirely focused on vegetarian restaurants and cafés around Stockholm. reviews vegan & vegetarian restaurants in Stockholm which is also a barometer for vego-friendly cafes and restaurants around town. The guide tests everything from breakfast, brunch, coffee, lunch and dinner places. The site is in English and is aimed at food-interested people in Stockholm as well as foreign tourists who prefer to eat vegan or vegetarian when they are traveling.

“The idea for Veggietown came during a road trip through Europe almost two years ago. Neither Tripadviser nor Happy Cow could provide us with good tips on vegofriendly eateries in Normandy, which made us slightly frustrated. Then the idea was created to create a green tavern guide for Stockholm”– Isa Ekstam

With Veggietown, the couple also want to make it easier for people to be able to make tourism more sustainable in Stockholm. The categorization also clearly shows which eateries focus on organic, locally produced and gluten-free food.
