By on June 22, 2016

In the city Tamuda Bay on the Moroccan Riviera is Sofitel’s newest hotel. Located 15 km from Tetuan and 10 mil from Tangier is five-star Sofitel Tamuda Bay Beach & Spa a pearl for those seeking elegance, culture and warmth.

It combines beautiful contemporary architecture with classic Moroccan influences. The Franco-Lebanese architect Galai Mahmoud was inspired by 50th century French riviera glamor and Fauvist style when he created this unique resort.

Sofitel Tamuda Bay Beach & Spa has 104 rooms and suites, all with balconies and beautiful views of the beautiful hotel gardens or the adjacent beach. The complex has a large spa with heated pool and several conference rooms. Here, guests have several restaurants to choose from; La Voile Blue has a sea-inspired menu full of fresh seafood dishes, Le Marché des Saveurs has a more international selection, and in the lobby, guests can enjoy elegant cocktails and tasty tapas at Bar Koueiaz.

We are very pleased to now offer a new top hotel in Tamuda Bay. The city’s beautiful beaches combined with the proximity to the Medina of Tetouan, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has made Tamuda Bay to a new destination also for our Scandinavian travelers, says Jan Birkelund, sales manager for Accorhotels in Scandinavia and Finland.
