Travel | New strike at Lufthansa – Karlstad is not affected.

Last Friday went the German airline Lufthansas cabin crew on strike due to a conflict of savings and stalled negotiations on a retirement package. 113 000 passengers are affected today, Monday all Lufthansa Flights from Frankfurt, Munich and Dusseldorf are affected. Of these goes 16 flights to or from Arlanda, and eight to or from Landvetter in Gothenburg.

The three daily flights from Karlstad Airport to Frankfurt with BMI Regional is not affected, they operated as usual.

There are travelers going further from Frankfurt with Lufthansa that will be affected by the strike. We encourage all with those tickets to make contact with Lufthansa responsible for booking of tickets, says Ing-Marie Fernlöf BMI Regional and station leader at Karlstad Airport.

Cabin crew union UFO has planned strike days until 13 November. According to Lufthansa, can new calls this week shorten the strike, but the airline assumes that it will last through Friday.
