Several of the world’s best jumping riders come to Sweden International Horse Show.
– This year it looks incredibly good. I’m working hard for it to be a starting field where everyone is in the top shape, says Sport Manager Malin Baryard Johnsson.

The nine international jumping riders coming to the Friends Arena are a team that has shown absolute top shape lately. Not least Harrie Smolders, the Netherlands, who recently won the entire Global Champions Tour.
– We want to be able to offer the audience the best riding sport has right now, says Malin.

Sweden International Horse Show has its own unique concept, with only 18 riders riding the jump classes. All riders take two horses each with them as they alternate during the weekends jumping classes.
– The short start-up fields, without a filler rider, really give the audience a maximum experience. It creates sporty excitement and at the same time you get a chance to get to know the riders and get them closer, Malin says.

The last five jump riders to be ready for SIHS are:
Marlon Modolo Zanotelli, Brazil – comes with two smoking fresh victories from the GCT competitions in Doha, Qatar.
Jur Vrieling, The Netherlands – took home the World Cup in Helsinki and really likes to compete in Stockholm.
Olivier Philippaerts, Belgium – back in earnest after the injury at the European Championships, took a big Grand Prix victory in Maastricht this weekend.
Nicola Philippaerts, Belgium – has ridden home several pallet places during the autumn’s contest tour in the US and Canada.
Geir Gulliksen, Norway, FEI wild card – loves Stockholm and Friends Arena. A fast rider and a real contest individual.
