The month of March starts with a sports holiday with Kamratposten and TikTok-Nattid. On March 19th, the fire party is celebrated for the first time at Skansen. Then you can go ice skating, go on open circus school Saturdays and see amazing circus performances every Sunday all month.

Fire party
The fire party is celebrated on Tuesday before the Iranian New Year, Nouroz, which comes at vernal equinox. It is a non-religious annual celebration that has been celebrated for nearly 4000 years. It will be an evening with world-class artists, family activities, hope of fires, food and other things that belong to the tradition.
Free admission to Skansen from 16:00.

Sports holiday fun with Kamratposten
Ice skating rink at Bollnästorget, ice skating disco, sausage grilling and rental of skates, lending of kicks and sledges, or stilts and strips, pony rides, circus performance, storytelling and ride with horse and wagon. On the sports holiday, the open circus school begins where the children practice their own arts.
Skansen and Kamratposten are collaborating for the first time on a sports holiday with activities such as reading corners with KP newspapers in Skogen’s house all week. On March 1-3, you can learn dance choreography of the famous TikTok: aren Nattid, make your own pins, come with on skate disco and many other activities!
Skogsmulle is in place on Saturday 2 March at 12.00-14.00 and on March 3 there is free entrance for everyone with Coop card.
February 23 – March 3

Open circus school
In Bragehallen, the open circus school is every Saturday between 23 February – 20 April and every weekday and Saturday during the sports holiday at 11.00 – 16.00. Here, all ages can try out circus arts – balancing on a ball or tense line‚ juggling tablecloths‚ balls and poi‚ rocking with rock ring and climbing cloth – and real circus artists are there to help.

The ice skating rink
Go ice skating on Bollnästorget, grilling sausages and drinking hot chocolate. Skates are available for rent on site and helmets are included in the price.

Circus Skansen
Young performers in front of circus numbers at the highest level with acrobatics, juggling and magic. A great show for all children with circus dreams. Performances in Bragehallen every Sunday until 21 April at 13.00 and at 15.00. Tickets are sold in the main entrance and in the Lill-Skansen shop. Price children 2 – 15 years 30: -, adult 50: –

Open in houses and farms
Järnhandeln, Bollnässtugan, Mekaniska verkstaden (open Tuesday – Friday), Snickeriet (open Mon-Thurs) opens at 10.00.
Älvrosgården and Järnhandlarbostaden open at 11.00.

Look in to …
Every day you can look into and see how some homeless have made a simple residence in the closed Garveriet. It is also possible to look into the bookbindery and book printing every day they are not open to visitors.

Little Skansen
The children’s own zoo opening hours in March are 10.00 – 15.00 weekdays and 10.00 – 16.00 weekends and school holidays. Today’s animals at Lill-Skansen are presented every day at 13.15.

Riding
The pony rides are on weekdays at 13.00 – 14.00 and 12.00 – 15.00 during weekends and school holidays. Price 50: –
