Now it is just Christmas closing left by Christmas and the winter cosiness can begin. The skating rink, with rental and hot drink, opens on January 12 at Bollnästorget. The weekend before is the premiere for Cirkus Skansen in Bragehallen – breathtaking arts in the jungle for not so small children performed by slightly larger children.

Dancing Christmas out – Christmas ending on Skansen January 6th
Dance out Christmas with Ayla Kabaca and Christmas Orchestra. At Bollnästorget there are fish pond, cotton candy, burnt almonds and the pans are lit for sausage grilling. This is also the last day for Christmas traditions in Skansen’s houses and farms and Christmas fun in the forest’s house.
The dance around the Christmas tree runs from 12:00 – 15:00

Circus Skansen
A breathtaking circus performance for young and old in the Bragehallen with acrobatics, magic and clowns. Dress rehearsal Saturday 12 January at 15.00, premiere Sunday 13 January and then there will be performances at 13.00 and 15.00 every Sunday until 21 April.

Skansens skating rink
January 12, preliminary due to weather and cold, opens the skating rink, now on the Bollnestorget. Bring your own skates or rent on site, helmet included. There are also sausage grills, sales of hot and cold drinks etc. in connection.

Open in historic environments
In January, the Järnhandlarbostaden and Järnhandeln, Statarlängan, Älvrosgården and Bollnässtugan are open every day.

Little Skansen
The children’s Lill-Skansen is open every day. Pay attention to the guinea pigs, city rats, rabbits and cats and all the other small animals. Don’t miss Today’s animals at 13.15.

Skogsmulles nature trail
Every day you can go Skogsmulles nature trail on your own using a map and questions to experience animals and nature. Folder is available in the main entrance and on Lill-Skansen.

Pony rides
All days of the year children can ride on Skansen’s shetland pony, russ and fjord horse. The riding tour starts at the Bredablick tower and runs around Ordenshuset and Kronberg’s ateljé. The pony rides are on weekdays at 13.00 – 14.00 and at 12:00 – 15:00 during weekends and school holidays. Price 50: –
