Theater group for young new arrivals at Dramaten

By on June 2, 2017

In the autumn of 2015, a theater group was launched for newly arrived youths by Hamadi Khemiri, David Fukamachi Regnfors, Malin Janlöv and Jonathan Silén.

– For almost two years, our actors Hamadi Khemiri and David Fukamachi Regnfors, together with Jonathan Silén and Malin Janlöv, have worked with young theater-interested people who have just arrived in Sweden. The drama will open up for new experiences and stories, as a national scene, I look forward to this – both the evening’s report and the work ahead, says Eirik Stubø.

With the help of various acting exercises in improvisation, movement, concentration and memory formation, the actors have worked with the youth’s stage and language development. During the spring of 2017 the group started working on text and reports the work Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st of May in the Tower Room. There will be pieces from Romeo and Julia, Mathissen, Waiting for Godot and some self-written scenes. A few tickets to both evenings are handed out 45 minutes before the show outside the Tower Room.
