By on November 16, 2017

Mike Scott and his The Waterboys played in Stockholm on Saturday at an sold out Münhenbryggeriet. As usual they gave an amazing concert, and now it is clear that the band returns to Sweden in April.

April 16 at Circus in Stockholm. Tickets are released today, November 16th.

In 2015 they sold out two nights at Nalen in Stockholm, one evening at Lorensbergsteatern in Gothenburg and one evening at the Slagthuset Theater in Malmö. In August 2016, they performed an exclusive gig at Botanisk Trädgård (backstage) in Uppsala. And last Saturday they played at a packed Münchenbryggeriet in Stockholm. The Waterboys are undoubtedly Sweden favorites, so it’s extra fun that they Sweden concert this spring.

Few bands, if any, have evolved, changed and varied their expressions so much during their lifetime as The Waterboys. With the band’s only permanent member, Mike Scott, the band has always sounded The Waterboys ever since the start of 1983, whether inspired by post-punk, rock n roll, country, Celtic folk music or blues.

MIKE SCOTT brings:
STEVE WICKHAM (Electric violin, mandolin)
RALPH SALMINS (Drums)
BROTHER PAUL (Keyboards)
DAVID HOOD (Bas)
ZACH ERNST (Lead Guitar)
