The portrait exhibition is extended

The exhibition Portrait of Anders Thessing is extended due to the great public interest. It will now be shown until November 30 at Falafelbaren in Stockholm.

The exhibition contains pictures of some of Sweden’s most famous musicians, artists, writers and actors. Lisa Ekdahl, Bodil Malmsten, Joakim Thåström, Ulf Lundell and Mauro Scocco are featured among the portrait. One of the last photographs at Ted Gärdestad is also included in the exhibition.

The photographic works are signed and for sale in limited edition.

Anders Thessing (born -61) is living at Södermalm in Stockholm. His photo path began in New York in 1986-88, where he worked as a photographer assistans for at those days the most prominent fashion and advertising photographers in the world. Since the late 80’s he has been a professional photographer with Stockholm as a base. Over the years, he has photographed fashion, food and many of our premier artists. There have been a lot of record covers, including Lisa Ekdahl and Mauro Scocco. Other contractors are Volvo, NK, H&M, Elle, Stockholm taverns Oaxen and Sturehof.

Thessing was earlier this autumn current with the exhibition Strövtåg and Järngraven at Skajs Antikhandel in Stockholm together with Arne Lind. There he showed the series Järngraven, from a Slussen that disappeared.

Falafelbaren, Hornsgatan 39b in Stockholm, is open monday-saturday 11-19, sunday closed.
