The legendary alternative metal band Helmet comes to Stockholm Debaser Strand in February 2017! The concert is part of the world tour as the band performs in connection with the release of their first new album in six years, “Dead to the World”.

Helmet was formed in New York in 1989 by singer and guitarist Page Hamilton, who through Helmets entire career has been the only constant member.

After two more albums Helmet split up in 1998 and Hamilton spent future years by recording soundtracks, play guitar for David Bowie and start the band Gandhi.

In 2004, Hamilton started up the Helmet again, and since then the group has released three albums and toured around the world.

On October 28, Helmets new album “Dead to the World” will arrive, Page Hamilton produced it himself, and a little more than three months later, Helmet will be back on the Swedish scene again with their heavy mix of hard rock, metal and punk that came to influence several generations of rock musicians.
