The Kooks to Stockholm this fall

By on May 28, 2017

The British public favorites are back. The campfire arrangement mixed with rock’n’roll-stunts has made The Kooks a band beyond the usual. On Friday they released the album “The Best Of … So Far” that summarizes its greatness in an educational and easy way.

Do not miss The Kooks live at Nobelberget in Stockholm on November 18th. The tickets were released for sale last Friday, May 26 at 10.00.

The Brighton band The Kooks was formed in 2004 and had a breakthrough on a broad front with the debut album “Inside In/Inside Out” from 2006, which immediately struck both critics and fans. Since then, the indie pop quartet has been one of Britain’s most beloved bands, and with four full lengths packed with indie pearls.

As late as last Friday landen maybe the obvious acknowledgment of their greatness, a “Best of” album that holds both gold grains from the MySpace era and modern indian classics. Blasted in their catalog, we find the newly written songs “Be Who You Are” and “Broken Vow”, two songs that prove that The Kooks still possess the formula needed to fire up any audience.

Since the debut with “Inside In/Inside Out” in 2006 they have so far done a couple of occasional gigs for the Stockholm public. This fall it’s time again.
