The first names ready for the Sigtuna Literature Festival 2018

Now it is clear that Jan Guillou, Martina Haag, Mikael Niemi, Anders Roslund and Pija Lindenbaum are some of them participating in the Sigtuna Literature Festival in 2018. After a year’s break, the Sigtuna Literature Festival welcomes new and old visitors back to Sigtuna city on May 5th.

– At the moment, preparations are being made and we are pleased to present some of Sweden’s most popular authors. We are now in dialogue with all our local partners who is in a amazing way engages to create a wonderful day for our visitors, from meetings with the authors to food experiences, says Eva Camél Fuglseth, CEO of Destination Sigtuna AB.

Just like previous years, the literature festival will offer individual author meetings and conversation authors between.

The Sigtuna Literature Festival has been inviting for a reading party at the end of August with the power of the word in the center for five years in a row. New to the sixth edition of the Sigtuna Literature Festival is that the festival is focused on one day. By adding the program points to allow space to enjoy the unique environment, they hope to attract even more visitors. As part of the program, Sigtuna Litteraturfestival’s school day is organized as well. During the spring, the municipality’s students will work with different reading projects, ending with the writers’ meetings on 4 May.

Lilla Piratförlaget publishes books that entertains and worrying, which affects as well as attracts to laughter. Gilla Böcker publishes youth novels and novels for young adults. Good entertainment, simply books to like! Piratförlaget publishes fiction, strong stories for a wide reading circle, mainly by Swedish writers.
