The exhibition Stories from Syria, at the Mediterranean Museum, is a venue for meetings, talks and community.

Syria has always been a strategically important place characterized by contacts and meetings between people from Asia, Africa and Europe. In the exhibition, archaeological objects tell about these contacts. It is stories about war and conflict, but also about everyday chores, joy and sorrow.

The exhibition, which also shows about 40 contemporary stories and related objects, has dedicated half the local area to a place for program activities in the fall. The program includes game events, story evenings, concerts, poetry and live pods. At the Ethnographic Museum there will also be a cooking course on four occasions with theme Syria. Each course is completely independent.

Welcome to take part of stories from Syria beyond the war headlines.
