The estimated exhibition “Margiela, the years with Hermès”, which was due to be completed on Sunday, March 10, is extended to Sunday, April 28th. In connection with this, Artipelag’s opening hours are also being expanded and direct buses will transport to Artipelag all open days.

Artipelag is now open on Tuesdays. Mondays thus become the only closed weekday. The direct buses from Vasagatan, which previously only went on Saturdays and Sundays, now receive departures Tuesday through Sunday.

– It is always gratifying to be able to extend a popular exhibition like “Margiela, the years with Hermès “and give even more chance to experience the creations Martin Margiela created for Hermès, says Bo Nilsson, art director at Artipelag.

The exhibition is a retrospective of the groundbreaking collaboration between avant-garde designer Martin Margiela and the Parisian fashion house Hermès in the years 1997-2003. A collaboration that when revealed was as unexpected as the latter became successful.
