Teddybears finishes Grönans concert summer

By on April 21, 2018

Friday the 28th of September, the last concerts will be played at Gröna Lund for the season, and finishing the concert summer has become something of a celebrated mission. This year the election fell to a group that does not sound like someone else. With a genre-crossing sound of hiphop, pop, rock, dancehall and electronic, we can not imagine a better finish. When the late summer darkness goes down over Gröna Lund, we welcome Teddybears to the Big Stage as the final act.

Teddybears is one of Sweden’s most important and original groups and with their genre-crossing sound they were far ahead of their time when they hit through in the 90’s. They achieved great success with songs like “Cobrastyle” and “Hey Boy” from the album “Fresh” from 2004 and still today there are no one that sounds like Teddybears. The latest album “Rock On” was released in 2016 and features a hybrid of bass heavy dancehall, rock and electronic, where they collaborated with, among others, Cutty Ranks and former Boyz In Da Hood member Gorilla Zoe. “Rock On” was a long-awaited sequel to the 2010 school-making album “Devil’s Music” and consolidated Teddybear’s position as one of Sweden’s most influential groups. At the end of March, the new single was released “Hustla” and September 28th at 20.00, we welcome Teddybears to Gröna Lund’s Big Stage and say thanks and farewell to the concert summer 2018.
