Sushi Yama launches children’s menu Yama Kids

By on November 6, 2018

On Thursday, November 1, Sushi Yama launched a children’s menu to reach out to its younger guests. The menu is called Yama Kids and is based on collaboration with Sanrio, which includes Hello Kitty and Bad-Badtz Maru in its brand portfolio.

Yama Kids is adapted for children and, like other restaurant chains, offers a meal with playful accessories. The co-operation was initiated at the beginning of the year together with Plus License, which is a licensing agent and represents, among other things, Hello Kitty.

– We have had a children’s menu in mind for an extended period of time to cater to our younger guests with a custom and natural alternative in connection with their visits to us, where goodness and pleasure are combined. When the discussions were raised, Sanrio and the company’s brands were known as an obvious choice. The company is Japanese and holds classic brands that carry on history. We are convinced that both Bad-Badtz Maru and Hello Kitty will appeal to our younger guests. Hello Kitty is also a popular character that is constantly gaining popularity and extends over several generations, says Danny Barsoum – Chief Brand Officer.
