SUSANNE SUNDFØR RELEASES ALBUM – PLAYS IN SWEDEN!

By on June 9, 2017

Last Tuesday Susanne Sundfør announced that her long-awaited sixth studio album, Music for People in Trouble, will be released on August 25! In connection with that, we also heard the beautiful new single Undercover. Listen here >>. In the wake of the upcoming album, Sundfør goes on tour – with a stop in Sweden! On October 12, we are celebrated with a Norwegian star visit to the Södra Teatern in Stockholm.

Tickets will be released on Friday, 9 June at 09:00 via LiveNation.se

Everyone who received the honor of attending Sundfør’s last concert in Stockholm, on a full Circus, knows what a magical experience it is to watch the Norwegian pop star live. Since that day, we’ve longed to welcome Susanne to Stockholm again – and we’ve been looking forward for a new album.

Now is the sequel to the extremely celebrated Ten Love Songs on its way. The 2015 album was celebrated by critics worldwide. British The Guardian gave the record 5/5 and described it as “brilliant pop from Norwegian megastar”. Swedish Gaffa also gave full pot (6/6) and wrote “This is too good to be fair in words”. And it’s just two of the many tributes that the Norwegian world star received over the years – since the self-titled debut from 2007.

In 2016, Susanne Sundfør took home the grand slam of the Spellemannprisen (Norwegian equivalent of Grammisgalan), where Ten Love Songs was the base for the nominations of the Producer of the Year, Album of the Year and Pop Solo of the Year. That the singer/producer/songwriter/superstar Sundfør combs home nominations, prizes and tribute for the upcoming album is a low odds.

Now we are looking forward to two dates! August 25th when Music for People in Trouble is released – and October 12, when one of Norway’s biggest pop artists throughout the ages is on the stage of the Södra Teatern! Magic to wait!
