Stiftelsen back at Gröna Lund’s Main Stage

Since they formed in 2011, the Swedish rock band streamed over 170 million times, had nothing but top rankings on the Swedish charts and managed to release four albums. Grammy Winning Stiftelsen has with their Swedish lyrics, earthy rock and punk energy established itself as one of Sweden’s biggest rock bands. In 2014 the band played at the latest on Grönan and in summer it’s time again. Friday 12 May at 20.00 steps Stiftelsen once again out on the Main Stage.

When Robert Pettersson and childhood friend Micke Eriksson formed the band Stiftelsen in 2011 it became instant success. First single “Vart jag än går” has crossed the border for ten times platinum, streamed over 50 million times and scooped a Grammy for “Song of the Year” in 2012. The debut album “Ljungaverk” was released in 2012 and went straight to the top of the Top Sweden. The debut album was followed up by rock band’s second album, “Dopet“, as with the hit “En Annan Värld” took over the charts again. In January 2017 was also released the fourth and latest album “Allting låter som Slipknot” which sailed directly up on the Swedish album chart’s first place. With their success, splendid and accurate songs has, Stiftelsen’s presence in the Swedish artist flora become a matter of course. Three years have passed since last time the rock band stood on Gröna Lund’s Main Stage, and 12 May at 20.00, it is finally time again.
