Soon it’s time again for late summer’s coolest experience. Saturday, September 8th, the food festival Sthlm Street Food rolls into Kungsträdgården for the second consecutive year. It will be a full day with lots of exciting Food Trucks from all over the country with flavors from all over the world. The big stage will be filled with music performance, contests and surprises.

After last year’s success with tens of thousands of food lovers, who celebrated a wonderful day of food from all corners of the world, it is time for Sthlm Street Food, organized by the Stockholm Fair, to come to Kungsträdgården Saturday, September 8th.

Already at 9 o’clock starts the prestigious competition Food Truck-SM. The interest in participating in this year has been recordable – 40 different Food Trucks from all over Sweden will be ready when the star chef Fredrik Eriksson and his jury colleagues start the race.

From 11 o’clock the public is welcome to taste all the exciting contest contributions. At 12 o’clock the winner is presented on the big stage. The winner may represent Sweden in the Street Food EM in Berlin 28-29 / 9.

All SM participants are then on site all day to serve top class food. A total of seventy-six Food Trucks and other exhibitors in food, baking and drinks will fill Kungsträdgården. The big stage will bubble of entertainment in the form of DJs, artists and competitions.

At 14 o’clock it is time for the semifinal in Sweden’s Best Parade dish, the competition is led by the chef and author Jessica Frej on the big stage. All visitors also have the opportunity to try graffiti together with Graffitisthlm.

Last year Indian Street Food became Swedish champion in Food Truck-SM. They are back this year and hope to get back to the top of the winner’s podium and represent Sweden in the Food Truck EM in Berlin later this fall.

– It was very fun last year. During the year, many have come to try our winning vego dish and we also gained much attention in the press, says Dheeraj Singh on Indian Street Food.

What will you compete with this year?

– I dare not reveal, but I can tell you that there will be a vego dish this year again. We are practicing for fully right now, says Dheeraj Singh.
