Stadium and Lidingöloppet in cooperation

The sports chain Stadium, with a total of approximately 170 stores and e-commerce, enters as the main sponsor of TCS Lidingöloppet and will be responsible for the sports shop at TCS Lidingölopps weekend. The agreement will start in 2018, making Stadium a part of the race this year.

– Now the time was right and we are very happy to work with the Stadium. They have a strong establishment with their own stores across the country and reach many customers. In addition, they have a well-developed association and youth venture through Stadium Sport Camp and Stadium Team Sales. Stadium is a strong brand and together we will continue to develop the TCS Lidingöloppet, said Tomas Hoszek, Secretary General of Lidingöloppet.

Lidingöloppet’s vision is to get more people to move – regardless of age, sex, background and conditions.

– This fits well with Stadium’s mission to activate the world. Together we will work to develop the arrangement and experience for the participants before, during and after the race, says Patrizia Nilsson, Sports Marketing Manager at Stadium.

The cooperation with the TCS Lidingöloppet will be seen in Stadium’s physical and digital stores.

– It’s great to start the cooperation with the world’s largest terrain race, which is an motivation and goal for so many runners, and a great event for the whole family. It will be another major race for us and stepped in inspiring more into an active life. And of course, Stadium will be in place during the event when the race is being conducted, said Patrizia.
