“Springsteen On Broadway” soundtrack will be released December 14th

Via Columbia Records, the live album and soundtrack “Springsteen On Broadway” will be released on December 14th, with the songs and stories of Tony Award winner Bruce Springsteens historical show at Jujamcyn’s Walter Kerr Theater. The album is a complete sound recording from the performance, and will be available physically, like a 2CD and 4LP release, as well as digital.

Bruce Springsteen’s critically acclaimed “Springsteen On Broadway” is an intimate scenshow based on his best-selling autobiography “Born to Run”, where the audience is invited on a unique evening with Bruce, his guitar, a piano and his personal stories. On the soundtrack of the show, each story from Bruce is a separate track, marked as an introduction to the following song. The album is blended by the legendary Bob Clearmountain and masterd by acclaimed Bob Ludwig.

“Springsteen On Broadway” began to be played on October 3, 2017 and officially premiered on October 12, 2017. The performance was sold out immediately and extended three times after its initially planned duration of eight weeks. Now it’s played on Broadway at The Walter Kerr Theater through December 15, 2018, which landed in as many as 236 performances (!). Netflix is now planning to release a full-length version of the performance. The documentary will have a global premiere on Netflix December 16th.
