Soon time for the largest Nordic flea market – The recycling party in Hornstull

Last Sunday in May each year, the streets of Hornstull are quickly filled by peppered residents of Hornstull who sell their gadgets to speculators, on the tables you can find everything from raw food to roller skates. You are met by hangers with nice bargains cross and in the neighborhood and small “pop-up shops” along the streets. Everyone is welcome to find bargains!

This year, the Recycling Party is celebrated for the fifteenth year in a row. Besides finding bargains at all Hornstull residents and hanging out with other flea enthusiasts, the Association Conscious Consumption has fixed other fun activities!

Since 2015, the Conscious Consumption Association has taken over and arranges the Nordic region’s largest flea market in Hornstull, which always takes place on the last Sunday in May. In 2017, we also hit visitor records – just over 100,000 flea enthusiasts visited the Recycling Party and that record was also held in 2018.

Outside the Gallerian at the bottom of Hornsbruksgatan you can:

  • – Win a car for a day at the Aimo electric car pool
  • – Find environmentally friendly mens protection at Imse Vimse
  • – Fix & fix your flea bargain with Don for Persons tools and craftsmen!
  • – Leave clothes and gadgets for Stockholm City Mission
  • – Leave portable hazardous waste to Stockholm Vatten and Avfall

Inside the Gallery you can:

  • – Create new things from your flea market finds (porcelain, tablecloths, candlesticks, lampshades etc) with the help of Don for Persons interior designers in Hornstulls Centrum.

At Lindvallsplan you can:

  • – Visit the Recycling Party’s organizer Conscious Consumption where there are some surprises during the day.
  • – Keep up with Hygglo’s landlord. Music, buns & fun stuff!
