Sony Music Entertainment / Legacy Recordings and the Estate of Prince Rogers Nelson have signed an exclusive worldwide distribution agreement for album released by Prince in 1995-2015, which will be available on all digital platforms in 2018.

“Enthusiasm and the deep knowledge of Prince music as Sony’s team have made them an excellent partner in distributing these iconic works,” said Troy Carter, Prince Estates advisor. “We are looking forward to working with the heirs and Sony to give the fans what they have been waiting for – more amazing music from Prince.”

The 19 titles released during the period 1995-2015 include albums like The Gold Experience (1995), Emancipation (1996), Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic (1999), The Rainbow Children (2001) and 3121 (2006), along with titles like originally distributed by Sony as Musicology (2004) and Planet Earth (2007). Additional titles from 2014-2015 will be distributed globally under the agreement in the future.

The agreement also includes rights to previously released material recorded before 1995, such as singles, b-pages, remixes, live recordings and music videos.
