Savory success for Sabi

From Sabi restaurant on Näringslivets Hus in Stockholm has Johannes Stålhammar taken out to compete in the Chef of the Year 2017. The jury consists of about 45 Swedish chefs and restaurateurs who selected the recipe that may compete. During the competition judged taste and performance, and the dishes served anonymously to the jury. In the end, nine finalists will be presented to the grand final in February 2017.

Fantastic fun and inspiring but also a little nervous to compete. It is an honor to have the chance to go up against the elite but I believe in my recipe and look forward to this, says John.

Besides Johannes selection competed Team Sabi chefs in the Culinary Olympics in Erfurt, Germany, where they on Wednesday brought an individual gold and a place in the final. In 2012 they won the first Swedish team ever, the total gold in the class Community Catering. This year’s Olympics was the fourth straight time when the Sabi represented Sweden in what is popularly often known asCooking Olympics“.
