Rival Sons returns to Grönans Big Stage

By on May 26, 2018

With a sixth album running and sold out venues worldwide, they have established themselves as one of the most celebrated and fastest growing rock bands right now. They did a celebrated gig at Gröna Lund last year, and despite the fact that the concert program has already been finalized, we could not stop us when we got the chance. On June 16, we will see Rival Sons at Gröna Lund’s Big Stage.

Rival Sons was formed in 2009 from the ashes of guitarist Scott Holiday’s former band Black Summer Crush and, in addition to Holiday itself, consists of singer Jay Buchanan, drummer Mike Miley and bassist Dave Beste. Only one year after the formation of the rock band, Rival Sons played as opening act to AC/DC, Alice Cooper and Kid Rock. They have a total of five albums in their luggage and sixth is expected to be released during the year. They make successful plays all over the world, not least at Gröna Lund last year. Even though the concert summer has already been finalized, we did not hesitate when we got the chance to book them again. On June 16, we can once again bid Stockholmers on world-class rock when Rival Sons returns to the Big Stage.
