The new album “Wolves” was released last week and the Chicago band’s eighth (!) full length has not made the fans disappointed. With the new single “The Violence” and monster hits like “Savior”, “Prayer Of The Refugee” and “Hero Of War” in its discography, the band is already iconic. Now they come to Sweden! Friday October 27th, Rise Against comes to Fryshuset – plus with Sleeping With Sirens + Pears as guests!

Tickets will be released on Friday 16 June at 10.00 via LiveNation.com

Rise Against is the band that always cared – but also never cared. They are active and passionate in key subjects such as HBTQ rights, animal cruelty, suicide among young people and much more. They say what they think and they do not apologize for it. They do not care what the establishment thinks. Therefore, Rise Against has become so important for many young people around the world – with music that has colored many people’s childhood – from the debut 2001 to today.

The theme of the new album is no exception. On the “Wolves” the band is very political – and most of it is about the election in the United States in 2016. The title track is directed directly to the country’s current president Donald Trump and a call to common man to agree and fight injustice – together.

Singer Tim McIlrath summarizes the album best:
“Wolves is not about creating a safe space, it’s about creating a space that’s dangerous for injustice”

Friday 27th of October comes the band to Fryshuset in Stockholm. Guests are Sweden favorites Sleeping With Sirens and Pears. Tickets are released on Friday – and a lot of interest is expected! See you in October!
