Restaurant Stadshuskällaren recruits Pia as a pastry chef

Pia Cedvall has a long background as a pastry chef and comes from the Grand Hotel. With high passion for chocolate, she has chosen to immerse themselves in Valrhona and went as late as October to the semi-final in C3 Competition in Paris. Pia also came to the semi-final in this Year Confectioner and hope for revenge with victory next year.

After twelve years at the Grand Hotel, I feel it is time to try new challenges. Therefore, I look extra forward to working with the wide choice Stadhusrestaurangerna has through its à la carte in Stadhuskällaren, varied menus to the banqueting rooms and a café. All in one and the same service. I also think it will be fun to get closer to the guest and work in a more familiar environment.

Pia has a long and solid experience in the restaurant business and has worked as both a cold buffet, commis director of the warm kitchen on renowned restaurants in both Sweden and London.

With extensive experience as both cook and cold buffet Pia is perfect in the role of pastry chef when she can see the whole process and understand the big picture. Her breadth we believe will be a great strength for us here at Stadhuskällaren, says Madeleine Birch, site manager for Stadhusrestauranger AB.
